By booking and attending The Sweet Escape Retreat (“the Retreat”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Payment
1.1 A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid by the specified due date, as stated at the time of booking.
1.2 Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking without a refund.
1.3 All prices are per person and are non-negotiable once the booking is confirmed.

2. Cancellations and Refunds
2.1 Cancellations made by the participant are non-refundable.
2.2 If the Retreat is canceled by us due to not reaching the minimum number of participants, you will receive a full refund.
2.3 In the unlikely event that the Retreat is canceled by us due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or other force majeure events), participants will have the option to transfer their booking to a rescheduled date or apply the payment as a credit toward a future Retreat.

3. Liability
3.1 Storymaker Travel Club (“we” or “us”) is not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the Retreat.
3.2 We are not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by airlines, transportation providers, or other third parties.
3.3 Participants acknowledge that they are joining the Retreat at their own risk and must inform us of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions prior to the Retreat.

4. Travel and Insurance
4.1 Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the Retreat location, unless otherwise stated.
4.2 We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations, delays, or emergencies.

5. Retreat Activities and Changes
5.1 While we strive to deliver the planned itinerary, certain activities, schedules, or services may be subject to change due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen factors.
5.2 We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary without prior notice and will always prioritize participant safety and satisfaction.

6. Code of Conduct
6.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other participants, staff, and the local community.
6.2 We reserve the right to remove any participant from the Retreat without refund if their behavior is disruptive, abusive, or poses a risk to others.

7. Force Majeure
7.1 We are not responsible for any cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, political instability, or acts of God.

8. Media and Photography
8.1 By attending the Retreat, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in writing prior to the Retreat.

9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Switzerland.

10. Disclaimer
10.1 We provide a carefully curated experience but cannot guarantee specific results, outcomes, or satisfaction from participation in the Retreat.
